Nowadays with larger and more powerful businesses, leaders interact more with people of different religions. Religion plays an important role in a person’s perspective of business ethics. As a manager, I need to understand people’s background and point of views, so I would be able to lead them properly. Taking an honor religion class at Santa Fe College allowed me to have a better adaptation with people with different backgrounds. To complete all requirements such as depth knowledge on the subject, I made Father Abraham, a game based on Abrahamic religions.
Terracotta Warriors
The Terracotta Army was constructed mainly as part of the mausoleum for the first emperor of China with the main purpose of protecting, guarding, and accompanying him in the afterlife. Qin Shi Huang’s obsession to acquiring immortality made him order to build the stunning army. Although over Chinese history human sacrifices were common in mausoleums, the Terracotta Warriors was an exception to these cruel rituals. They were made just of local materials. After the Qin period the burying of figurines as a substitute for human victims had become widespread in China.
