Buongiorno, Hola, Bonjour, Привіт, Hello

Ukraine

Located between Europe and Russia, Ukraine became independent after the Soviet Union dissolved in 1991. Its strategic location seems to be perfect for a good economy; however, government corruption and communist traces have left Ukraine in a difficult economic condition. Seven students including me enrolled in a business study abroad to the Slavic country. Accompanied by Charles Stephenson, a distinguished professor in the international business program at Santa Fe, we visit Ukraine for 10 days.

China

Over the last decades, Chinas economy has been growing rapidly after its economic reform in 1978. Leading by the Chinese Communist Party, China became part of the 10 strongest economies in the world. In addition, China has the greater population with 1.3 billion people, which leads to diversities of languages, ethnicities, and religions. Participating in a study abroad to the middle kingdom gave me an unforgettable experience that allows me to visit a worldwide known culture.
